Backyard Party - Scandinavian Style
A few days ago we had a campfire in the backyard. We cooked our food over the open flame and had a really good time. The kids had a blast making s'mores and popcorn!
My friend brought over some fresh raspberries from her garden and we made a traditional layer cake with fresh berries and custard and topped with wipped cream. It was fun to decorate the cake - all the flowers and leaves were fresh - and completly edible!

The world's best blueberries.
Finding and collecting blueberries was something I used to love as a child.
And now that I'm all grown up I take my own child to pick blueberries.
I think the best blueberries are the ones you find and pick yourself.
What is your favorite childhood memory?
